Fix Guide: Sequoia iPhone Mirroring Clipboard Fail

Symptom: You copy text on your Mac and try to paste it into an app within the iPhone Mirroring window on macOS Sequoia, but nothing happens, or it pastes old content from the iPhone's local clipboard.

The Universal Clipboard integration in Sequoia relies on the pasted daemon and a secure handoff between the Mac's local pasteboard and the mirrored session. If the handoff process loses focus or the sharingd process stalls, the cross-device paste fails.

Fix 1: Restart the Pasteboard Daemon

1. Open Terminal.
2. Run the following command:

killall pasted

1. This will restart the background service responsible for syncing the Mac and iPhone clipboards.

Fix 2: Toggle Handoff

1. On your Mac, go to System Settings > General > AirDrop & Handoff.
2. Turn off Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices.
3. Wait 10 seconds and turn it back on.
4. Do the same on your iPhone: Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff.
