Fix Guide: Sequoia iPhone Mirroring Keyboard Lag
Symptom: When using iPhone Mirroring on macOS Sequoia, there is a noticeable delay (1-2 seconds) between typing on your Mac keyboard and the text appearing on the mirrored iPhone screen.
Why this happens
Sequoia's Continuity framework uses a high-priority Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct channel for keyboard input. Interference from other 2.4GHz devices or a stalled sharingd process usually causes this lag.

Fix 1: Restart the Sharing Daemon
- Open Terminal.
- Run the following command:
sudo killall sharingd
- Enter your Mac password when prompted.
- This will briefly disconnect your iPhone; wait 30 seconds and reconnect.
Fix 2: Reset Bluetooth Module
- Hold Shift + Option and click the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar (if available).
- Select Reset the Bluetooth module.
- Alternatively, run
sudo pkill bluetoothdin Terminal.
Recommended Tool: CleanMyMac
Lag in Mirroring can often be traced back to "Background Items" hogging CPU cycles. Use CleanMyMac to audit and disable unnecessary launch agents.
